Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a NY RN license and specialized certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit following an LDRP model, Level 1
• Provide care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend required, with priority on major holiday nights
• Floating required between Labor & Delivery units
• Responsibilities include monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, administering medications, assisting in deliveries, and patient education
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment
• Must be able to float between specified units as needed
• Holiday coverage is required, especially for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve nights

Requirements

• Active NY RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Certifications required: ACLS, NRP, AWHONN or C-EFM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
