Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Roswell, NM 88201 (New Mexico travel nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (09/29/2025 – 12/29/2025)
• Healthcare Setting: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Unit
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:00 – 06:30); options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 – $1,880
• Scrubs: Provided (purple, navy blue, or OR scrubs)
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• First-time travel nurses welcome!

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (required at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse experience
• Certifications: BLS and NRP (required); PALS preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR documentation (preferred)
• Proven ability to provide couplet care, manage laboring patients, and circulate for cesarean sections
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and newborn care skills
• Willingness to float to similar clinical units as needed

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns
• Provide couplet care, including newborn assessment and breastfeeding/lactation support
• Circulate and recover patients for cesarean sections
• Perform triage of obstetrical patients and respond to emergencies
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, episiotomy/incisional care, and phototherapy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services)
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR
• Support a safe, family-centered care environment with rooming-in for newborns
• Work flexible nursing schedules, including weekends and occasional schedule adjustments
