• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts (8-hour shifts may be scheduled as needed)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (guaranteed 72 hours per two weeks)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,570 - $2,760
• Charting System: EpicCare Inpatient EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active RN license in Washington or compact state
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Required certifications:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
• STABLE certification preferred

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a busy L&D unit (average 35-40 deliveries per month)
• Monitor fetal and maternal status, including neonatal monitoring and assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support postpartum patients and assist with transitions to home care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices
