Travel Nursing Job Details

• Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (12 Hour Days)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200 - $2360

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required for MA nursing jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Current ACLS (AHA), NRP, and BLS (AHA) certifications must be in hand at time of application
• Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred
• Must have own vehicle for travel nurse assignment
• COVID-19 vaccination required (dose date on or after 10/3/23) or approved exemption with mask requirement
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (travel nursing requirement)
• Ability to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s, including associated weekends)
• Maximum of 3 days requested time off (RTO) during assignment; all RTO must be submitted with application
• Work history, skills checklist (current to 1 year), and at least one supervisory reference (from the past 2 years) required

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit, including monitoring, assessment, and support during labor and delivery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Accurately document all nursing care provided
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as required
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols
