• End Date: December 20, 2025
• Duration: 8-week nursing contract
• Shift: 8-hour Night Shifts (11:00 PM start)
• Hours per Week: 32
• Weekend/Holiday: Rotating schedule as needed
• On-call: None
• Floating: Will float to Postpartum unit as required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1980–$2120 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license (required for Minnesota healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or Postpartum hospital experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (Basic required at submission; Intermediate may be completed onsite)
• Willingness to float to Postpartum unit
• Ability to provide all required nursing certifications prior to start date

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor maternal and fetal health using EFM and clinical assessment tools
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Accurately document patient care and assessments using Epic
• Support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Float to Postpartum unit as needed to provide clinical support
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required by the hospital
