RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Position Details

Shift/Schedule: 36 hours/week, 12-hr nights (7p–7a)
Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend, every other holiday
Call: None
Scrubs: Navy blue
Local Candidates: Not accepted (50-mile radius rule)

Requirements

Minimum 1 year L&D RN experience (travel experience preferred)
Must be able to scrub/assist in OR for deliveries
Fetal monitoring experience required (certification not required)
Certifications: BLS & NRP (required)
EKG exam: Not required

Unit Details

Beds: 10 LDR, 2 triage, 2 OR
Typical Ratios: 1:1–2 (subject to staffing)
Equipment: Warmers, GE monitor, pulse ox, blood glucose
Support: 3 RNs + 1 tech per shift
Float: Occasional float to Mother/Baby
Patient Population: High acuity; language barriers, substance abuse, chronic pregnancy conditions
