Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Strong clinical skills in labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor patient status and respond to obstetric emergencies
• Assist with deliveries and collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn health
• Accurately document all nursing care and patient interactions
