Travel RN Job Details

• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Location: Irving, Texas 75039 (Las Colinas area)
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
• Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month
• Start Date: October 12, 2025
• End Date: December 7, 2025
• Setting: 12-bed L&D unit, 2:1 patient ratios
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,310 - $2,470

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring (FM), AWHONN
• Ability to circulate and assist with C-sections
• Experience with Meditech documentation preferred
• RNC certification preferred

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to laboring patients and their families
• Circulate and assist with C-sections and Labor & Delivery procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Accurately document patient care using Meditech EHR
• Float to other nursing units as needed
• Maintain professional appearance in facility-provided scrubs
• Follow unit guidelines regarding attire, body art, and piercings
