Travel Nursing Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Nursing RN
• Location: Gillette, Wyoming (82716) – Wyoming nursing jobs
• Unit: Maternal Child (Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, Well-Baby, NICU)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (potential to extend)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 12, 2026
• Flexible Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Scrubs Provided
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050 - $2200

RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN and Post-Partum nurse (including couplet care)
• Active Registered Nurse license in Wyoming or compact state (or eligibility for temporary WY RN license)
• BLS (CPR) certification from American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• Experience with Pitocin and/or Magnesium drip administration
• Proven ability to manage high-risk antenatal and perinatal patients
• Extensive knowledge of tertiary level maternal fetal medicine

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient and family care in the Maternal Child department
• Coordinate and delegate unit and patient care activities to other healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure excellence in clinical care
• Manage laboring patients, including those receiving Pitocin and in active labor
• Deliver post-partum and couplet care for mothers and newborns
• Provide care for high-risk patients and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with Wyoming Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and AWHONN/AAP guidelines
