• Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 (Hunterdon County, New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Employment Type: Per Diem (Local Nursing Position)
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Minimum Commitment: 4 shifts per month (option for additional shifts)
• Weekend Availability: Required
• Scrubs: Provided
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $710 - $750

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey (NJ Registered Nurse license required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (required for L&D RN jobs)
• Preferred: Experience in Mother Baby care or postpartum nursing
• Ability to work occasional weekends as part of the clinical support team

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a hospital setting
• Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Administer medications and manage labor interventions according to clinical protocols
• Educate and support patients and families during childbirth and postpartum care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
