Key Job Details – L&D RN Travel Nurse

• Location: Bemidji, MN 56601 (Northern Minnesota healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (rotating holidays and every 3rd weekend)
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2240 - $2400
• Healthcare Setting: Acute care – OB/L&D, Postpartum, Nursery, Pediatrics, GYN, Med-Surg overflow

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or willingness to obtain temporary/permanent MN RN license within 24 hours of offer
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an OB/L&D RN, including Postpartum and Pediatrics
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP certifications required
• At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required
• Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems preferred
• Willingness to float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed
• Ability to provide care for diverse patient populations: postpartum, antepartum, pediatric, newborns, GYN, Med-Surg overflow

L&D RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, newborns, pediatric, and GYN patients
• Float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as required by union contract
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including charge nurses, resource nurses, LPN scrub nurses, CNAs, and ward clerks
• Utilize medical equipment such as EPIC One Chart, Acudose, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, and Medfusion Pumps
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing nurse training
