• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1630-$1750
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: Yes, as needed
• Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse License (South Carolina or compact state; pending license accepted, must obtain prior to start)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Fetal monitoring experience required
• Ability to work every other weekend and take on-call as needed
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• All requested time off must be submitted with application

Labor and Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using advanced fetal monitoring skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations as required
• Float to other nursing units within scope as needed to support hospital operations
