Job Description: Travel RN - Labor and Delivery (Days)

Location: Albany, NY 12208
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) / Every Other Weekend, Rotating Holidays

Position Summary: Albany Medical Center is seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and hold current certifications specific to Labor and Delivery nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
Adhere to Albany Medical Center’s protocols and dress code, including wearing navy blue scrubs.
Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR systems (Epic experience REQUIRED).
Float to other units as required by the department.

Qualifications:

Current RN licensure.
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
EFM National Certification Corporation or Intermediate AWHONN certification issued within the past 3 years (or proof of class registration at time of submission).
Epic EMR experience required.
Navy blue scrubs mandatory.
Candidates from certain local counties may not be eligible (refer to Albany Medical Center’s ineligible counties list).
