Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Massachusetts requiring current MA RN license and critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital
• Care for pediatric, adult, and elderly patients with acute and chronic conditions
• 4x10 hour day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday with variability for a day off
• Rotating call required: Monday-Friday 6pm-11pm, Saturday/Sunday 7am-11pm
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• No regular on-call responsibilities outside the above schedule
• Provide nursing care for radiology procedures and emergencies
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation, and assist with special procedures
• Ensure patient privacy, safety, and dignity throughout all procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Perform accurate documentation and participate in health teaching for patients and families
• Dress code and other facility-specific requirements apply

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 3 to 5 years of nursing experience required
• Critical care nursing experience necessary
• Proficiency with patient assessment, aseptic technique, IV skills, and emergency interventions
• Strong English communication and computer skills required
