Job Description & Requirements

Travel RN Requisition – ICU/Stepdown Float PoolAssignment Details

Start Date: October 20, 2025
End Date: January 17, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Days/Week: 3
Schedule Notes:
- 6-week schedules
- Daily staffing adjustments every 4 hours
- May be pulled to new assignment in 4-hour blocks
- Must float between ICU and Stepdown units
Provide leadership and coordination of compassionate, quality patient care
Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
Participate in resolving variances from patient goals

Requirements

Education:
- Graduate of accredited nursing school (ASN required)
- BSN preferred
Licensure:
- Current Michigan RN license
Certifications:
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (required)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in ICU/Stepdown specialty
- Must have basic dysrhythmia testing competency
Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical ability
- Ability to float between ICU and Stepdown
- Effective communication and adaptability in high-acuity settings
