ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Active Arizona RN license (no license hits)
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale – all current from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Travel nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
• No Arizona home address on driver's license
• Compliance with facility-specific background requirements

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to ICU patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
• Adapt to various ICU specialties, including Same Day Surgery, Detox, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, and IDD
