Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse – Day or Night Shift (13-Week Contract)

Location: Ontario, OH 

Start Date: November 10, 2025 

Contract Length: 13 Weeks 

Minimum Experience: 2 Years (Recent and Consecutive in Hospital ICU Setting)

Overview: A leading acute care facility in Ontario, Ohio is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This role requires a strong clinical background in critical care and a willingness to float to affiliated campuses (Bucyrus and Galion) if census drops. Candidates must be available to work every other weekend and must not request time off during designated holiday blackout periods.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Knowledge of medication scanning systems required
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage high-acuity patients
• Must be willing to float to other ICU units within the system
• All time off requests must be submitted with initial application (maximum 7 days)
• No RTO permitted between November 22–30, 2025 or December 20, 2025–January 4, 2026

Unit Details:

• ICU patient population: adult critical care
• Staffing ratio: 1:5
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Floating: required to Bucyrus and Galion campuses as needed
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrubs: provided
