Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least two years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shifts are 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
• Floating required to PCU or MS units and as a Patient Observer (sitter) in any area of the hospital
• Must work at least 50% of holidays and weekends during the contract
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• All ICU RNs may be assigned as Patient Observers (sitters) as needed
• Floating to other areas of the hospital is mandatory
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 75 miles, at a different rate
• Completion of required hospital modules during orientation and annually
• Must cover at least half of assigned holidays and weekends during the assignment

Requirements

• Active MO or compact state RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required, with at least one year in ICU
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
• Must provide two professional references from a charge nurse or above
