ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Bemidji, Minnesota 56601
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
• Facility Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 10 beds
• Shift: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts; every other weekend and holiday required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2140 - $2290
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred; other EMR experience considered
• Ability to float to Telemetry, ER/Observatory, and CCU units as needed
• Proficient in responding to code blue calls and performing procedures such as arterial lines, ventilator management, bipap, and cardiac monitoring
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• Compliance with facility badge-in/badge-out protocols

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed ICU
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced interventions, including ventilators, bipap, and cardiac monitoring
• Respond promptly and effectively to code blue emergencies
• Float to Telemetry, ER/Observatory, and CCU units as needed to provide clinical support
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for accurate documentation and medication management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Participate in a comprehensive orientation program (12–24 hours per unit, adjusted as needed)
