Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in Iowa requiring at least two years of recent home health RN experience and a current IA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a home health setting
• Patient population consists of adult and geriatric patients in their homes
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• Must have completed at least one previous travel RN contract
• Duties include case management and providing direct patient care in home settings
• Opportunity for same day interviews
• Seasonal holiday coverage is required; must work two of the three major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Only one day of time off is allowed between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Prior employment with the client within the last 12 months may affect eligibility

Requirements

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact RN license is required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent home health RN experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA is mandatory
• All certifications must be active at the time of consideration
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• One supervisory reference from within the last two years of employment or contract is required
