WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Emergency Room Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Travelers can earn up to $2,196 per week for this role.  

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 7pm-7am.
• Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.  
• Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
• Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.  
• Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.  

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing  (BSN).   
• Current RN license for the state of Connecticut.
• 2  years of Emergency Room RN experience is required.   
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC  certifications  from the American Heart Association  are required.
