Travel RN Opportunity – Emergency Room (ER)

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift Notes: 12-hour night shifts, 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: TBD
• On-Call: TBD
• Orientation: 0 billable hours
• Holiday Pay: 1.25x regular rate
• Overtime: Paid at regular rate (no OT multiplier)
• Dress Code: Traveler-provided professional scrubs (no logos)
• EMR: Epic
• Local Policy: No local travelers within 50 miles of facility

Holiday Coverage Requirement

Travelers must work two of the following holiday pairings:

• Thanksgiving + Friday/weekend after
• Christmas Eve/Day + Friday/weekend after
• New Year’s Eve/Day + Friday/weekend after

Note: Assignments ending in November or before the December holiday period will not be considered for extension into 2026.

Submission Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of current ER experience in a hospital setting
• Travel Experience: Minimum 3 months preferred
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certifications Required (must be in-hand at submission):
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC
• Licensure: Vermont RN license or Compact (must be active at time of submission)
• Vehicle Requirement: Must have own transportation
• RTO Policy:
  • Maximum 5 days of requested time off (less is preferred)
  • All RTO must be included in profile; requests after submission will not be approved
• Scheduling Requests: Must be included at time of submission; requests after offer will not be considered
• Block Scheduling: Not permitted

Psychiatric services are available at The Windham Center in Bellows Falls, VT.
