Emergency Department Registered Nurse – 

Travel Assignment Location: Springfield, Vermont

Duration: 26 Weeks

About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 26-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician with strong emergency care experience who thrives in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. You will be part of a fully staffed, 24/7 emergency department that serves approximately 14,000 patient visits annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency nursing care using evidence-based practices and clinical judgment
• Triage patients and collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to determine treatment plans
• Provide care across diverse populations, from pediatric to geriatric
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards
• Contribute to a culture of safety, responsiveness, and compassionate care

Shift Details

• Shift Type: Nights
• Shift Times: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours/Day: 12
• Weekly Guarantee: 36 hours
• No call, call-back, or charge responsibilities
• Overtime rate is equal to hourly rate

Scheduling Requirements

• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at the time of profile upload
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Holiday RTO is not available; reserved for permanent staff
• Block scheduling will not be approved
• 48-hour guarantee is not available
• All scheduling requests must be made at submission; requests after offer will not be approved and may result in rescinded offer

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum of 3 months travel experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Active RN license in Vermont or Compact State
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be in hand at time of submission)
• Must have own vehicle

Local Restrictions

• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of Springfield are not eligible
