Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (required for Illinois nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (healthcare certifications required)
• Willingness to float to Med/Surg unit as needed
• MS training required
• Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of Shelbyville, IL
• Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and urgent medical needs
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Float to Med/Surg unit to support clinical staffing needs
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and follow hospital protocols
• Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions
