Job Title: RN – Emergency Room

Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626

Shift: Alternating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
Schedule: Every other weekend required

Job Description:
The ER RN will provide care in a combined adult/pediatric emergency department with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 across mixed acuity levels. Responsibilities include triage, stabilization, IV therapy, central line care, blood product administration, management of dysrhythmias, sedation, emergency medications, and care for patients with multi-system organ dysfunction. Floating to similar units may be required based on census.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of ER experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Must be able to interpret/manage dysrhythmias
• Epic charting experience preferred
• No locals (75-mile rule)
• No pending licenses accepted
• Minimal RTO allowed
