Immediate Need:
This is an urgent requirement. Nurse must be available to start ASAP.

Required Certifications & Experience:

Current AHA Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Trauma Certification:
- TNS (Trauma Nurse Specialist) or TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
NIHSS Certification (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department RN experience required

Unit Details:

Total Beds: 30
- 27 Medical ED Beds
- 3 ED Psychiatric Beds
Patient Volume:
- Average 120 patients per day
- Daily range: 100–140 patients
Staffing Model:
- Staffed based on Average Daily Census (ADC)
- Varied shift lengths
Nursing Model:
- POD Nursing Assignments (team-based)

Designations & Capabilities:

Level II Trauma Center
Level II Stroke Center
Chest Pain Accreditation
Sexual Assault Treatment Center:
- Fully equipped for comprehensive care of sexual assault survivors
