Shift:

Night – 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 | Overtime after 40 hours
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (7 weekend shifts per contract)

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide patient-centered care in a community hospital setting. The role covers combined adult and pediatric populations and includes general medical and behavioral health emergencies. First-time travelers will not be accepted.

Patient Age Groups:

• Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Certifications Required:

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS

Responsibilities/Skills:

• General Emergency Department care – Adult and Pediatric
• Non-Trauma Emergency Department
• Stroke Certified Facility procedures
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs
• Blood product administration and phlebotomy
• IV therapy, including continuous IV paralytics and sedation
• Administration of emergency medications and IV vasopressors
• Procedural sedation
• CVA care, splint application, asthma & epiglottitis management
• Identification and reporting of abuse
• Management of infections, respiratory infections, seizures, skin disorders, UTIs
• Acute psychosis, drug overdose, violent behavior, psychiatric holds, suicidal patients
• CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patients, isolation precautions
• Telemetry monitoring

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years ER experience
• Must not be a first-time traveler

Compensation:

Traveler (W2):

• $66/hr | $2,376 weekly
• Minimum Hourly W2 Pay: $21.00
• Minimum Weekly Gross (Taxable): $756.00
• Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,620.00

Traveler (1099):

• $70/hr | $2,520 weekly
