• Facility Setting: Emergency Department (42 beds, daily census of 200)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Emergency Room
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: February 9, 2026
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1700 - $1820
• Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Charting System: Cerner EMR (Cerner experience preferred)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience in a similar-sized hospital
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state (pending license accepted with submission; must be active before start)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must be willing to obtain if not already held)
• NIHSS and NRP certifications preferred
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Must pass on-site drug screening

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform triage, assessment, and rapid intervention for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and behavioral emergencies
• Administer emergency medications and treatments, including blood products, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, ventilated patients, and those requiring advanced airway management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training to maintain nursing competencies
• Work some holidays during the travel nursing assignment
