Job Details – South Carolina ER RN Travel Assignment

Location: Gaffney, SC 29340 (South Carolina nursing jobs)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: November 3, 2025
End Date: February 2, 2026
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts/week
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1710–$1750
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Setting: Emergency Room, 16 rooms, 125-bed hospital
Charting System: EPIC EMR (recent experience preferred)
Parking: Free onsite

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted; must obtain prior to start)
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred (will consider 1 year)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
Must pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day of orientation
Travel nursing experience required
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Must reside at least 75 miles from facility (no local candidates)
Submit all requested time off with initial application

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages in a busy Emergency Department
Perform triage, IV sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and care for ventilated patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy
Document patient care using EPIC EMR system
Participate in on-call and holiday coverage as required
Maintain compliance with hospital attendance and performance policies
Care for diverse patient populations: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Holiday/On-Call Requirement: Choose one: (1) One holiday with two on-call/additional shifts per 6 weeks, OR (2) Two holidays with no on-call/additional shifts.
