Emergency Room RN - 12H Days

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour day shift (7AM - 7PM) position. This is an 8-week contract opportunity, with start dates on September 22 and October 6. Ideal candidates will have prior travel experience and a strong background in emergency nursing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment.
• Manage and prioritize multiple patient care activities effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Comply with hospital policies and standards of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Active Virginia or Compact Nursing License.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required.
• ENPC certification is preferred.
• Required Trauma Certification: ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be included in the submission packet.
• Must be able to float if necessary.

Contract Details

• 56 Contract Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Based on scheduled shifts
• Orientation held every other Monday.

Please note that local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility will not be considered. The client reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours before the assignment due to census changes.
