Travel Nursing Job Details

• Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment
• Location: Duncan, OK 73533 (Southern Oklahoma)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED), Level II Trauma Center
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Start Date: October 22, 2025
• End Date: January 21, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratios: 1:2-4
• Unit Size: 19 beds, 22 rooms
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1400-$1500

ER RN Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (travel nursing experience required)
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license (Oklahoma or compact state)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, ISTAT, ENPC
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred
• Meditech charting experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• First-time travel nurses not accepted

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED environment
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2-4, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform triage, assessments, and interventions for trauma, stroke, cardiac, orthopedic, psychiatric, respiratory, and other emergencies
• Administer medications, IVs, blood products, and manage central and arterial lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Float within scope as needed to support facility needs
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
