• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of emergency room or critical care nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at start
• ENPC or PALS certification required within 6 months (ENPC preferred)
• TNCC certification required upon hire or within 1 year
• Emergency nursing specialty certification preferred

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Triage and prioritize patient care based on clinical assessments
• Conduct focused assessments of chief complaints following triage protocols
• Administer medications, perform wound care, take blood samples, and assist with patient movement
• Maintain supplies and ensure compliance with hospital policies and Nurse Practice Act
• Demonstrate strong time management and adaptability in a dynamic ER environment
