Registered Nurse – CVPICU – Day Shift

Position Overview:
Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced CVPICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This Level I Pediatric Trauma Center provides comprehensive care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a pediatric intensive care setting.

Certifications & Requirements:

• Active RN License (TN or Compact) – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• PALS – Preferred
• BSN – Preferred
• COVID-19 Vaccine – Not Required
• Flu Vaccine – Required, No Exemptions
• Cerner Experience – Preferred

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric CVICU experience – Required
• First-time travelers – Not accepted unless 3+ years of recent experience
• Prior travel assignment completion – Required
• Former perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (local radius rule)

Skills & Competencies:

• Pediatric cardiac ICU experience
• Ability to work weekends as needed
• Must be willing to float to similar units within 20 miles (rarely between campuses)
• Strong critical thinking, pediatric assessment, and communication skills
