Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CVPICU RN with an active OH or compact license and strong pediatric critical care experience for a night shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in the CVPICU (Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU) of a hospital
• Primary patient population is pediatric cardiac intensive care
• Floating required to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and med-surg as assigned
• 12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:30), three shifts per week
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Travelers must comply with all floating requirements and be prepared to receive appropriate assignments in various pediatric units
• No local candidates accepted for this RN contract
• Timeliness and reliability are emphasized, with strict policies regarding lateness and attendance
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Two years of pediatric ICU or related critical care experience strongly preferred
• Two supervisory references required, including at least one from a supervisor or manager
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at the facility within the past two years
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
