CVOR RN Job Details

• Location: Camden, NJ 08103 (Greater Philadelphia area)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), Level 1 Trauma Center
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: January 31, 2026
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• On-Call: 2 shifts per six-week schedule; weekends as needed
• Holiday Coverage: Every other holiday; must work either the day before or after if off the holiday. Must work both an evening and a day shift, as well as a winter and spring hallmark holiday.
• Hourly Pay Rate: $106.95
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,410–$2,580

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 4 years of Level 1 trauma nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience
• Scrub and circulate experience in endovascular and cardiovascular cases required
• BSN degree preferred
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• COVID-19 vaccination with at least one booster required
• Excellent attention to detail for patient safety and quality monitoring
• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordination of care in the operating room
• Flexibility – no consecutive days or weeks of requested time off; must be adaptable to department needs

CVOR RN Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for endovascular and cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma CVOR setting
• Coordinate care and collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and healthcare teams
• Ensure patient safety and maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols and best practices
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage during holidays as scheduled
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the department
