Travel Nursing Job Details

• Shift: 10-hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening); call and weekend rotation required
• Possible Float: Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus (flexibility required)
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available to work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2680–$2870

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for all U.S. nursing jobs
• BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience in a large teaching hospital (strong candidates with slightly less than 2 years considered)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Circulate experience required; scrub experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (mandatory)
• Strong clinical knowledge in ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible)
• Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November–April (Vermont travel nurse safety requirement)

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care in the CVOR, including circulating and (preferably) scrubbing for diverse surgical procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
• Participate in call and weekend rotations as scheduled
• Float to Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus as needed
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
• Work 2 out of 4 major holidays during the assignment
