CVOR Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Bethlehem, PA 18015 (Lehigh Valley healthcare jobs)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• Schedule Options: 3x12s, 4x10s, or 5x8s (Day shifts: 6:45am – 7:45pm, Monday–Friday)
• On-Call: 1 night per week, up to 2 weekends per 13-week period
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site

CVOR RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CVOR RN or cardiovascular operating room nurse
• Scrub experience in complex cardiac cases required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

CVOR Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Scrub and circulate for advanced cardiac surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical interventions
