Job Title: Registered Nurse – CVICU

Location: Morgantown, WV 26505
Duration: 13 weeks (Possible extension)
Shift: Nights – 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Unit: Cardiac Care Unit (CVICU) | Unit 62156

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum Experience: 2 years ICU experience
Travel Experience: Required
Direct open-heart post-op experience: Required
Must have:
- ACT (Activated Clotting Time) experience
- Swan-Ganz catheter management
- Impella monitoring
- CRRT (CVVHD) experience

Certifications:

(All certifications must be active and included in the submission packet)

Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
Preferred:
- Procedural sedation
- Interpretation of ABGs
- Infection Prevention

Skills Checklist (Preferred/Required):

IV Therapy: Arterial lines, blood products, central/PICC line care, cardiac/vasoactive drips
Respiratory: Ventilator management, CPAP/BiPAP, suctioning
Cardiovascular: IABP, Impella, LVAD/RVAD, TAVR, valve replacements
Neurological: Acute stroke/CVA management
Renal: CVVHD/CRRT
Emergency: Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Professional: Cardiac monitoring, multisystem organ failure care

Licensure:

Required: WV RN license or Compact License
Pending license acceptable at time of submission
License must be verified via NURSYS
