Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Springfield, IL 62769 – Explore Illinois’ capital city, known for its historic sites, lively downtown, and scenic parks.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 15, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC); every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200 - $2360
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, CVICU, or critical care nursing
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend
• Strong clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and critical thinking skills

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, open-heart procedures, and critical illnesses
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and progress
• Administer medications, cardiac treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiac post-operative care, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment for optimal recovery
