Travel Nursing Job Details

• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (6:45pm – 7:15am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/21/2025 – End: 1/20/2026)
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float: May float to similar units as needed
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Parking: Free on-site parking
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1470–$1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (required for South Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Stepdown or Cardiac Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS and CPI certifications preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Telemetry competency and Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Previous charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• First-time travel nurses accepted

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiac Stepdown unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage cardiac drips (no titration), and respond to dysrhythmias
• Administer blood products, IV insulin protocols, and care for ventilated patients
• Perform central and peripheral line management, wound care, and tracheostomy management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services
• Float to similar units as needed to meet facility requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
