Position Overview:

Catholic Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves working in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with advanced cardiovascular procedures and technologies. On-call is required, with a self-scheduling model.

Key Requirements:Must-Have Qualifications:

Critical care experience
Proficiency with Impella and IABP
Ability to titrate drips independently
Active RN license
ACLS certification

Unit Details:

Labs: 3 Cath Labs, 1 inpatient holding area, 1 outpatient radial lounge
Staffing:
- Cath Lab: 7 Techs, 13 RNs (including manager)
- Radial Lounge: 5 RNs, 1 LNA
Operating Hours:
- Cath Lab: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Radial Lounge: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Patient Population: Adult
Equipment: OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, IABP, Pacers, Rota, CSI, Opsens, CathWorks, Penumbra
EMR Systems: Sunrise / Allscripts, Mac Lab

Left & Right Heart Caths
Drug Studies
TAVR, TMVR
ASD/PFO Closures
Stents & Angioplasty
Atherectomy (Rota, CSI, Shockwave)
Mechanical Thrombectomy (INARI, EKOS)
IABP, Impella
Mitral Clip
Temporary & Pressure Wires
VSD Closure
CardioMEMS Implantation

Work Culture & Perks:

Self-scheduling for call: Typically one weekday and one weekend per month
- Weekday Call: 4:30 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekend Call: 4:30 PM Friday – 7:30 AM Monday
