Travel Behavioral Health RN

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is for a 13-week contract with rotating shifts, including days and nights, every other weekend, and a schedule of 3x12s.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of clinical activities in assigned unit(s).
• Implement the philosophy, goals, and standards of the Department of Nursing.
• Formulate and monitor capital, personnel, and operating budgets.
• Direct staffing and scheduling of personnel.
• Supervise employees in the delivery of patient care.
• Plan and coordinate orientation and educational needs of the staff.
• Maintain positive working relationships with other disciplines.
• Promote positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in Inpatient Geriatric and Adult Psych nursing is essential.
• Adolescent experience is a plus.
• De-escalation training/certification required; attendance at SAFE Training Course onsite is available if needed.
