Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform general duties in Nuclear Medicine: technical and operational procedures, equipment troubleshooting, patient care, and imaging study performance, including injections, administering radiopharmaceuticals, assisting with the training of other staff, inventory control, and patient scheduling. It also ensures compliance with regulatory agency requirements concerning Nuclear Medicine.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Graduate of approved AMA School of Radiology and NMTCB-approved School of Nuclear Medicine

Valid State of Maine license required

National registration with ARRT is required.

Must fulfill mandatory CEU requirements

BLS certification required
