Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring CPR and nuclear medicine registry certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital nuclear medicine department
• Performs nuclear medicine procedures including administration of radiopharmaceuticals and venipuncture
• May assist with additional imaging modalities as needed by the department
• Uses EPIC EMR; experience required
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Possible on-call responsibilities
• Role involves professional judgment to maintain equipment and radiation protection practices
• Responsible for coordinating patient flow and activities within the nuclear medicine department
• Hospital provides up to 24 hours of billable orientation modules to be completed during orientation
• Local radiology candidates within a 30-mile radius are accepted at the same rate
• No more than 14 days of requested time off will be approved
• Applicants must have no history of license action
• Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
• Current CPR certification required
• Nuclear Medicine registry required
• ODH licensure required (pending licensure is acceptable); license required if applicable
• ARRT RT(R) registry and/or NMTCB required
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• One year of specialized nuclear medicine experience preferred
• No prior job-related work experience required
