Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Primary shift: Monday through Friday 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, but could be asked to work earlier shifts
• Saturday shifts are a possibility
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements between locations
• Patient load: approximately 10 patients per day
• Blocked scheduling accommodated
• PET CT experience is mandatory (at least 1 year or more)
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
• Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification by ARRT required
• Louisiana state licensure (LRT (N) by LSRTBE) required
• BLS certification required
• All certifications and licenses must be active, current and in hand at time of submission
• Basic computer experience required
• Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures for outpatient, cancer, and PET diagnosis patients
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license
• Ensure completed exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS system
• Function as PACS Superuser during downtime procedures
