Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least one year of experience and a valid VA or compact state license for an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital MRI department
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (evening 5x8 hour shifts)
• Candidates may float within their scope if needed
• Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required
• No radius rules for applicants and locals are accepted at the same rate
• Modules are assigned and must be completed during orientation week
• All background checks will be reviewed by the facility
• Candidates are not allowed to work over 40 hours per week unless approved by the unit manager
• Return staff and travelers must not have worked at the facility in the past 12 months
• Facility is drug and tobacco free, and has a natural nail policy
• RTO must be included with application and no time off is granted during the first week
• Holiday shifts are not guaranteed off
• Scrub requirements: follow facility policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant MRI technologist experience required
• VA or compact state license must be in hand at the time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Graduation from an accredited school (ACEN or CCNE accreditation accepted)
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Must provide 2 professional references
• Must comply with hospital fingerprinting process if assigned to certain departments
• Compliance with natural nail and smoke-free facility policies
