Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a MRI Technologist with ARRT(MR) certification and Siemens MRI experience for a day shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital MRI department
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Work every third weekend
• Float as needed to the Ridgewood Observation Unit
• Complete orientation and annual modules, both self-reported and facility-tracked
• Must begin lab work within 2 business days of acceptance
• May be required to pass EKG and medication testing prior to start, depending on specialty
• No holiday time off approved for the duration of the contract
• Local candidates are accepted within a 75-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Scrub color or dress code will be provided by the facility
• Annual and pre-start modules must be completed as part of onboarding
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Current ARRT(MR) certification is required
• State license is required; pending status may be allowed for consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience is preferred
• Siemens MRI experience required
• Full COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required prior to consideration
• One supervisory or manager reference from within the past year is required
• License required if applicable
• Prior perm employees not eligible for travel assignments
