Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for an evening shift contract, accepting first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

• Work in an MRI department within a healthcare facility
• Evening shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• No weekends or call required
• Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice
• Assignment length is 14 weeks
• Candidates are expected to be available to work major holidays occurring during the assignment; no holiday time-off can be requested except in specific situations
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed, no requests granted during the first week of assignment
• Modules must be completed during orientation and are recorded via transcripts
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Permanent or PRN staff must be away from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Return travelers must complete a successful assignment outside the system before rebooking if previously unable to return
• Travel pairs cannot be assigned the same shift in the same unit
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted
• Full compliance is required by the start date to avoid onboarding delays

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• GA or Compact state license must be in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Two supervisory references are highly preferred for consideration, with references from a manager or above
• Must be able to submit required documentation and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
