Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (R)(MRI) certification and proficiency in GE or Siemens MRI systems.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Radiology-MRI setting serving adult ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Work weekday evening shifts (2nd shift) with varying start times between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• On-call coverage is required as needed
• Staff to patient ratio is 1:1
• Procedures include cardiac MRIs and functional MRIs
• Utilizes Epic as the EMR system; Epic experience is required
• Locals are accepted at a lower pay rate if living within 75 miles
• All time off requests must be included at the time of application
• You will be included in the unit rotation pool for mandatory overtime as needed
• Cardiac and functional MRI experience is preferred
• Medical and religious declinations are allowed for COVID-19 and flu vaccines

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience required
• ARRT (R)(MRI) advanced certification required
• Proficiency with GE or Siemens MRI systems required
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records system required
• BLS certification required
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred
• Active CT state license must be obtained prior to start if applicable
