Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for a 4-week night shift contract, requiring ARRT or ARMRIT certification and recent Epic and Philips experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the imaging department of a large academic teaching hospital
• Night shifts are 12 hours with flexibility required, and 1-2 weekend shifts per month
• No call requirements for this assignment
• Handles a variety of MRI cases utilizing Philips equipment
• Patient population served includes adults in a teaching hospital environment
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
• Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work any night of the week, including some weekends
• Public transportation is not accessible; a personal vehicle or rental car is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April
• No block scheduling will be accommodated
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Work in a fast-paced, academic medical center environment

Requirements

• Current BLS certification is required
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure is required; license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment is required
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
• Teaching hospital experience is required
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred
